Bring your appetite because out-of-this-world cuisine is served on Carnival Dream, which boasts a myriad of fabulous dining choices, including casual, formal and al fresco options.

Children do not need to be toilet trained, and camp counselors will change diapers. On sea days (varied hours on port days, depending on demand), and can include arts and crafts, dancing, movies, sports contests and video gaming. Most organized programming ends at about 10 p.m.; the Camp is also typically closed for an hour during lunch and dinner. Families are a major demographic for Carnival, especially during the summer, and Carnival Dream works hard to keep kids and parents happy. The ship feature's the line's Dr. Seuss and Build-A-Bear partnerships, as well as a robust kids club divided into three age groups. Kids also get their own menu in the main dining room, with staples like chicken nuggets, mac 'n cheese and spaghetti.

Carnival cruisers love outdoor deck areas, and the Carnival Dream was designed with lots of public space outside for both kids and adults. It's a great place to walk, sit, or enjoy the whirlpools that extend over the sea. All adults can enjoy Serenity, the adults-only retreat forward on decks 14 and 15.

With a mostly open-space design, you'll find gaming stations, a foosball table and dance floor in both Circle C and Club O2. Carnival Dream has two FunHub internet centers (Decks 4 and 5), where cruisers can find several computers for checking email and surfing the internet (including accessing their social media accounts). Other popular spots at night are the atrium, Ocean Plaza, (entertainment hub on Deck 5 for live music), Sam's Piano Bar for sessions of sing-along piano tunes, and The Song karaoke lounge. Jogging may not immediately come to mind when you think of things to do at sea, but it probably should. You don’t have to walk on water, you just have to get on a Carnival cruise.

In the afternoon, look for yet more trivia and bingo, cooking or towel animal demos, charades, dance classes, pool and sport deck games and more art, retail and spa seminars. A port day will have a little less action, but you'll still find trivia and spa seminars on your daily Fun Times schedule. Encore, a three-deck high theater (Decks 3, 4 and 5, forward), is the ship's main show lounge. It's used for a variety of nightly entertainment, including song-and-dance revues, variety acts and audience-participation "game shows" like the gender showdown, game show mania and the popular love and marriage show.

The cove balcony cabin interior is the same layout and size as a standard balcony cabin. Each 7-day cruise has 24 comedy performances.For those who love to be in on the action, the Caliente Dance Club has a large dance floor and modern decor. Or, music lovers can enjoy The Song for karaoke or Sam's Piano Bar for their favorite tunes.The largest lounge on board is Encore!. Each week, guests are treated to three spectacular reviews, with singers, dancers, and the Fun Force acrobats.

Jogging tracks are available on all Carnival ships, and are even padded for long-distance comfort.
